Today Dhanusha Police has arrested a person who cheated saying he is DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police) of Nepal Police.
20-year-old Dhaniklal Sah of Lahan Municipality-2 of Siraha was arrested, informed Jatashankar Yadav, Police Inspector of Area Police Office Dhalkebar.
According to him, Ramesh Shrestha, who lives in Ganeshman Charnath Municipality-4 of the district, was arrested on the charge of defrauding him of 50,000 cash by claiming to be the DSP of Nepal Police.
Police Inspector Yadav said, 'Sah was arrested based on the report given to the police by Shrestha about Sah's fraud of 50,000 by claiming to be DSP.'
Sah, who was arrested, has been remanded in the fraud case in the district court and further investigation has been started, he said.
