Greater Janakpur Region Development Council has appointed Vaidyanath Paswan as Executive Director for four years.

According to the council, Paswan was appointed for a four-year term through an open competition for the post of executive director, which has been vacant for the past two years. President Sheetal Sah informed that Paswan has been appointed as Executive Director for four years as per Section 17 (1) of the Act of the Council.

Paswan is a resident of Sanukhara, Mahottari rural municipality-1, Mahottari district. It was formed under the leadership of Mahendra Narayan Nidhi, the then leader of the founding Congress, for the protection and promotion of the religious heritage and heritage of the various municipalities bordering Mahottari and Mithila Secondary Parikrama, including Janakpurdham.
