Two people have been arrested from Siraha with the drug brown sugar. The police arrested them on Wednesday from Sirha municipality-17 customs gate side.

Those arrested are 25-year-old Hriday Singh of Golbazar Municipality-7 and 22-year-old Dharmendra Yadav of Golbazar Municipality-8. According to the police, brown sugar was recovered from the driver Singh who was coming on a motorcycle.

The brown sugar recovered from Singh's body is 5 grams and 200 milligrams, according to the District Police Office, Siraha. Police said that they were arrested by the team of Narcotics Control Bureau, Janakpur and Area Police Office, Madar.

Siraha police spokesman DSP Birendra Kumar Paswan informed that additional investigation is being done on them after extension of the deadline by Siraha district court.
