Saptari police seized 670 kilos of marijuana on Saturday. Saptari SP Dhakendra Khatiwada informed that 670 kilos of ganja covered with straw were seized by the police in Kamaldaha of Balanbihul Rural Municipality-1 Chanhi.
The police found the marijuana in 24 packets covered with straw. Earlier, Saptari police seized 1,717 kilos of ganja from Rajgarh Rural Municipality on the night of 3rd November when it was loaded on a sand-carrying tripper.
Saptari is brought from the eastern hill district and ganja is stored and smuggled to India from here.
