Police have arrested 4 people from Birganj Metropolitan Municipality-20 Harpatganj with drug marijuana. On the basis of a special information, they were arrested at 9:30 pm on Tuesday night, about 500 meters west of Harpatganj Chowk, while they were carrying drugs and marijuana.
Among those arrested are 40-year-old Paras Yadav of Parsa Bahudarmai Municipality-1 Vishrampur, 52-year-old Mainuddin Mian, 36-year-old Akbar Mian of Bahudarmai Napa-7 Tintolia and 45-year-old Shiv Mahato.
When the police team arrested them and searched them, they found about 50 kg of narcotic marijuana hidden in 4 bags in a plastic bag. Parsa Police spokesperson DAP Kishore Lamsal informed that further investigation is being done on the four arrested persons for drug-related offences.
