For two consecutive days, the life of the district has been affected due to cold weather and fog. After continuous rain on Saturday and Sunday, common people were affected by cold. Due to the cold wave in different districts of Terai, the number of common people coming out of their houses is very small.
With the increase in cold, senior citizens and children are more affected. Lakshman Kandel, Assistant Meteorologist of Weather Field Office Simra, informed that the temperature of both Bara and Parsa districts is decreasing along with fog and fog in Madhesh. According to the office, the maximum temperature of Birgunj on Saturday was 15 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature on Saturday was measured at 9.5 degrees Celsius.

After the cold wave affects people's lives, the Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division has requested to take special precautions for health as the cold will increase with the onset of winter and fog.
