On Sunday, the police arrested three people, including Srikant Tiwari, an investigation officer of the intelligence agency National Investigation Department, on the charge of murdering Rajkumar Rumba, an assistant at the police office of Simra Airport.

Tiwari and 27-year-old Purushottam Das and 20-year-old Indrajit Chauhan of Jitpursimra sub-metropolitan city-19, who were arrested through a press conference at the district police office, were made public. Das is the owner of Jayaman Workshop, which runs in Simra.

If the public prosecutor's office does not file a case against Tiwari, he will not be suspended.

40-year-old Rumba was shot in the head 8 days ago. Rumba, who was killed, was working in the security unit of Simra Airport. The arrested investigation officer (inspector) Tiwari was also in the airport and Simra area for a year. Both used to eat at the same place. Last Friday at 9:30 pm, he asked for Tiwari's car and said he was going to Kalaiya. But on Saturday morning, he was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head, alone in a private car with the number 01-028 Ch 7616 of Tiwari, on the road of Amadar village, Jeetpursimra sub-metropolitan-11. Tiwari was not there.
