The police have arrested a man on the charge of murdering his girlfriend. Police arrested 25-year-old Mandip Kumar Yadav of Sarlahi Chakraghatta-9 Khoiria on the charge of murdering 22-year-old Anu Rai in Bardibas Municipality-5 Tuteshwar on 23rd October 2081.
Mandip liked Anu, who was living in Janakpur from Mahatari Ataradh house, from a young age and after they both fell in love, they met and agreed to marry each other at Tuteshwar temple. District Police Office Mahottari Deputy Superintendent of Police Santula Prasad Jaiswar said that the girl died on the spot after a dispute between the two about calling the parents home after the marriage agreement.
2081 On October 23, a dead body was found abandoned in Tuteshwar, Bardibas Municipality-5. Deputy Superintendent of Police Jaiswar said that Yadav was arrested from Birganj while investigating after receiving a video of all the accused returning from Tuteshwar temple with the deceased woman and traveling together in Tempu. The arrested Yadav has been registered a case of duty killing and further investigation is being conducted, the police said.
