Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that along with the country's transition to federalism, the health and education sectors here have also gone to federalism.

He said this while inaugurating the newly constructed basic hospital building of Patervasugauli Rural Municipality of Parsa on Tuesday. "After the country went to federalism, the education and health sector has also reached the villages accordingly," he said, "our country has gone to the federal framework, accordingly, health and education are being developed in the villages of the Nepali people." Stating that they are ready to provide the services, Deuba also requested the stakeholders to provide the services effectively as the biggest need at present is health and education.

He stated that the hospital building established in Patervasugauli rural municipality and its service facilities are of a high standard and said that the hospital should create an environment to serve the patients of the neighboring municipality as well. He said that he has the hope and belief that similar infrastructures will play a supporting role for the people in the future.

The 10-bed hospital building has been built by Millennium/Sagar JV Joint Venture Company at a cost of Rs 7 crore 10. 60 percent of the construction cost is subsidized by the federal government and 40 percent by the rural municipality.
