The District Administration Office Bardiya will provide national identity card services on public holidays. The District Administration Office has decided to offer national identity card services even on public holidays starting tomorrow, Saturday.
Recently, the number of service seekers coming to the District Administration Office for national identity card services has been increasing daily. More than 150 service seekers come every day for national identity card-related services, according to Lok Prasad Dhakal, Administrative Officer at the District Administration Office.
“Due to the excessive pressure of service seekers, national identity card services will be operated on Saturdays and Sundays,” he said. “Until further notice, the administration office will provide national identity card-related services regularly from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, just like on other days.”
General public have said that providing services on public holidays for the convenience of service seekers is a positive step for the district’s residents.
