Speaker of the Provincial Assembly Tula Ram Gharti Magar said that the 13th meeting of the eighth session will be held at 8 am on Monday. Detailed discussions will be held on the ministerial topics related to the budget in the meeting.
In the previous 12th meeting held on Sunday, the theoretical discussion on the bill to make arrangements for spending and allocating funds from the Lumbini Provincial Consolidated Fund for services and works for the fiscal year 2083/084 was completed. Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Dhanendra Karki had presented the bill in the assembly. On it, members of the provincial assembly from the ruling party and the opposition had expressed their views.
The Lumbini provincial government had presented an annual budget of Rs 37.38 billion 45 lakhs for the upcoming fiscal year 2083.084 in the provincial assembly. Of the budget, Rs 22.71 billion 65 lakhs 40 thousand were allocated for capital and Rs 11.11 billion 27 lakhs 10 thousand were allocated for current.
