‘For this, we have given priority to the expansion of the Enterprise Development Fund to encourage individuals and organizations interested in starting businesses in the country, including women and Dalit youth, in startup, innovation and entrepreneurship programs,’ he said, ‘Easy availability of seed capital, loans, exemptions and security and interest subsidy have also been arranged through the budget.’ The government has allocated Rs 200 million for interest subsidy.
Similarly, the government is preparing to create self-employment through artificial intelligence knowledge and skills for youth attracted to information technology, and to implement the Digital Lumbini Campaign with priority to maintain good governance by making all services provided by the provincial government based on information technology.
Relief and insurance programs are to be launched to increase the income of rural communities and reduce human-wildlife conflict. The government has also prioritized the issue of moving forward with a model settlement development program and new settlement development program in the Mid-Hill Highway area to reduce migration. The government has put forward a plan to open a waste treatment center in Rapti Rural Municipality with an investment of Rs 110 million for waste management in the provincial capital area.
