Although preparations are underway to swear in the new minister on Wednesday, the new minister is likely to be sworn in only two days later as the provincial chief Lumbini is out of the province.

The CPN-UML is going to change the ministers of the Lumbini government. The ministers resigned this morning after receiving instructions from the center to resign while the budget was in the final stages of preparation.
UML parliamentary party leader Chet Narayan Acharya is currently the Chief Minister of Lumbini Province. The Congress has been taking a stand to change the government with the leadership as per the previous agreement. Although there was an attempt to change the ministers in the first week of Jestha, the issue of changing the ministers was delayed after the Congress parliamentary party said that it would reorganize the government simultaneously with the Chief Minister.
However, the provincial assembly members who were in line to become UML ministers had put pressure on the center to change the ministers. Accordingly, Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya himself had instructed the ministers to resign on the instructions of party chairman KP Sharma Oli. Accordingly, the ministers resigned on Wednesday. Although preparations are underway to appoint and swear in new ministers on Wednesday, a leader said that since Province Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti Bhagar is out of Lumbini Province, a new minister cannot be appointed for at least two days. Sources claim that the names of Dilliraj Bhusal of Gulmi, Ramji Ghimire of Arghakhanchi, Tulsi Prasad Chaudhary of Rupandehi and Ratna Khatri of Banke have been recommended by the Center for the position of minister from UML. Currently, UML has 4 ministers besides the Chief Minister. Bhumishwar Dhakal, Dinesh Panthi, Khem Sarumgar and Sita Sharma Chaudhary have resigned from the post. Among the four recommended, Khatri had earlier become the Minister of Social Development. The other three are new faces for the position of minister. UML had given priority to those who were elected to the Province Assembly for the second time and did not get the opportunity to become ministers. Accordingly, Chaudhary and Ghimire were recommended. Gulmi's Bhusal, on the other hand, has been recommended as he is a senior citizen of the provincial assembly.
Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya said that he has instructed the ministers in the government from UML to resign.
'It has been suggested that new friends be given responsibility,' he said, 'The ministers resigned on Wednesday. Now there will be a discussion on who will be given the responsibility of the ministry.' Although the government is preparing the budget, Minister Herefer said that the budget will not be affected. The Lumbini provincial government has decided to establish 8 ministries from July 1. The government has also mentioned the issue prominently in the policy program.
However, since it was a previous verbal agreement that the party that gets the chief minister in collaboration with the Congress will get three ministers and the other party will get four ministers, a UML leader said that the UML is going to change all four ministers and send only four again.
