An adult leopard has been found dead in Madhuban Municipality-1 of the district.
An adult leopard was found dead on the border of Somalpur Community Forest and Bhaluni Bhatuwa Community Forest on Thursday morning, said Hari Gurung, chairman of the Khata Community Forest Coordination Committee.
As soon as the information was received that the leopard was found dead, forest officials are on their way to the scene, said Shiva Bahadur KC, information officer at the Division Forest Office.
