A bus driver died of electrocution in Dang on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Purna Bahadur Wali, 41, a resident of Malai, Babai Rural Municipality-7, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Resham Bohara, spokesperson of the District Police Office. According to him, the tire of the bus (Ra 1 Kha 2198) coming from Malai to Tulsipur got punctured on the inner road section at Patihalna, Babai-7 in the afternoon. The driver, Wali, who was on the roof of the bus while changing the tire, was electrocuted.

After being seriously injured due to electrocution, Wali was taken to Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur, where doctors declared him dead, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Bohara.
