Two people died when a Scorpio collided with a parked truck at Piparhawa, Kapilvastu Municipality-12, under the Bahadurgunj-Taulihawa postal road section at around 9 pm on Saturday.
A Scorpio with UP-32 CA 8343 number coming from Bahadurgunj to Taulihawa and a truck with Lu 1 Kha 9549 number coming from that direction and parked on its side collided with a truck, killing 50-year-old Radheshyam Kurmi, a resident of Bangai, Maharajgunj Municipality-11, and 55-year-old Chinni Kurmi, a resident of Dharmanagar, Shivraj Municipality-6, according to DSP Ripendra Kumar Singh, spokesperson of the District Police Office.
