The tenth meeting of the CPN-UML Lumbini Province Parliamentary Party Board was held on Monday. The meeting condemned and condemned the federal government for illegally detaining UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak based on the Karki Commission report.

Provincial Assembly member Ratna Bahadur Khatri said that their unconditional release was demanded in the meeting. Similarly, the meeting objected to the arrest in a vindictive manner over the issue of a social media status written by Prime Minister Balendra Shah against Provincial Assembly member Rekha Sharma when he was the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. Accusing the federal government of being oriented towards state terror, the meeting also demanded an immediate end to vindictive behavior.

The meeting, chaired by Chief Minister and parliamentary party leader Chet Narayan Acharya, decided to take active leadership on behalf of the parliamentary party to complete the projects included in the approved annual budget for the current fiscal year on time.
