In the sixth meeting of the seventh session of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly held on Monday, Provincial Assembly members presented questions and suggestions on contemporary politics, good governance, development and service delivery.

Provincial Assembly member Bhoj Prasad Shrestha said that the implementation of the constitution, good governance and fulfilling people's expectations should be prioritized. He said that self-respect-based governance was necessary to strengthen the province.

Provincial Assembly member Ambika Kafle expressed concern that violence against women could not be ended. Another provincial assembly member, Chandrakesh Gupta, expressed the need for strict legal provisions, citing an increase in rape cases. Provincial assembly member, Mina Kumari Shrestha, said that the budget has been frozen due to delays in the implementation of the annual plan.
