A 92-year-old woman has died after being hit by a tipper in Gulmi. A 92-year-old woman from Resunga Municipality-13, Dhani Budhathoki, a pedestrian, was seriously injured after being hit by a tipper of Sujata Construction (Lu 1 Ka 4547) on her way from Tamghas to Charpala in Resunga Municipality-13 of Tamghas-Ridi section along the Madan Bhandari Highway.
She was taken to United Mission Hospital in Palpa for treatment, but doctors declared her dead, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Gulmi.
The driver and the tipper are under police control. Further investigation is underway, according to the District Police Office, Gulmi.
