The Lumbini Provincial Government's cabinet meeting held on Wednesday has reshuffled the responsibilities of secretaries. The meeting also posted promoted provincial employees.
The meeting chaired by Chief Minister Chetnarayan Acharya has given the additional responsibility of Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law to Secretary of the Chief Minister's Office Binod Lamichhane and the additional responsibility of Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives to Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Transport Narad Gautam. Similarly, it has been decided to give the responsibility of Secretary of the Ministry of Social Development to Diwakar Bhandari.
Similarly, the meeting has also reshuffled the responsibilities of many doctors and employees in the health service. As per the decision of the meeting, Roshanlal Chaudhary has been posted as Chief Public Health Administrator in the Health Directorate Rapti Valley (Deukhuri) in the province health service. Dr. Rajendra Kumar Giri has been posted as Chief Public Health Administrator at the Provincial Supply Management Center, Rupandehi. Similarly, Dr. Mohammad Nurul Hoda has been posted as Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur, and Dr. Padmaraj Adhikari has been posted as Gulmi District Hospital. Dr. Shakuntala Kumari has been assigned as Chief Consultant Medical Generalist at Rampur Hospital.
Dr. Anupa Thapa has been posted as Chief Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecologist at Butwal Provincial Hospital. Dr. Bhuvan Poudel has been posted as Chief Consultant Surgeon at the same hospital and Dr. Surendra Kunwar has been posted as Chief Consultant Anesthesiologist.
Similarly, Dr. Pushparaj Joshi has been posted as Chief Consultant General Physician, Dr. Krishna Hari Subedi as Chief Consultant Pediatrician and Dr. Prabhat Pokharel has been posted as Chief Consultant Dermatologist at Lumbini Provincial Hospital. Dr. Gopal Prasad Gyawali has been assigned as Chief Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at Lumbini Provincial Hospital.
Similarly, Anil Marasini has been posted as Superintendent Engineer at the Directorate of Transport Infrastructure in the Provincial Engineering Service. Ishwori Prasad Poudel has been assigned as Director General of Forests in the Provincial Forest Service.
The meeting also approved the Provincial Project Bank (Operation and Management) Directive, 2082, Health Minister Khem Bahadur Saru said. The provincial government has stated that the objective of the directive is to systematize the selection, management and implementation of priority projects in the province.
