Hari Prasad Bhusal has reached his village after being elected as a member of the House of Representatives from the National Independent Party. He is visiting all 61 wards of Arghakhanchi to thank party workers and voters for electing him.
On Wednesday, he met locals in villages including Chidika, Balkot, Kerunga, and Thulapokhara of Chhatradev Rural Municipality. After returning to the village after winning the election, the locals congratulated him by offering him flowers and garlands. After offering garlands, khada, and tika, there is a crowd of people taking photos and videos with Bhusal. Bhusal's supporters have been posting videos and photos of their celebration on social media, including TikTok.
Out of a total of 171,652 voters, 86,668, or 50.49 percent, were cast in Arghakhanchi. Out of which, Bhusal got 35,023 votes and was elected as a member of the House of Representatives. He defeated his nearest rival, UML's Pitambar Bhusal, by a margin of 12,374 votes. Pitambar got 22,649 votes, while Congress's Bishnu Khanal got 18,983 votes.
Hari Prasad was a candidate from the Bibeksheel Sajha Party in the 2074 BS elections from Province Assembly 1 (1). In 2079 BS, he became a candidate from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). At that time, he received 3,200 votes. He was a media operator, journalist for some time, and signboard writer in Sandhikharka.
