A son died and his father was injured in Ghorahi on Sunday evening when a truck hit his scooter.
The deceased has been identified as Ankit Chaudhary, 22, of Lamahi Municipality-6, who was riding a scooter, the District Police Office, Dang has informed.

Chaudhary, who was seriously injured in the collision, died during treatment at the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences, Ghorahi, informed District Police Spokesperson DSP Resham Bohara. The deceased's father, Jhapendra Bahadur Chaudhary, 53, was injured. Chaudhary is undergoing treatment at the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences, Ghorahi, he said.
