Keeping in mind the security sensitivity of the elections, the District Administration Office, Palpa, has requested the people to surrender their weapons within 15 days.
Assistant Chief District Officer Rishiram Subedi said that with the aim of conducting the upcoming House of Representatives elections on Falgun 21 in a free, fair, fearless and peaceful environment, they have been requested to surrender such weapons kept at home after obtaining permission.

The administration has stated that the weapons surrendered in this way will be returned to the concerned owners one month after the election is completed. Assistant Chief District Officer Subedi said that if the weapons are not surrendered within the specified time limit or if they fail to do so, legal action will be taken.
