5,422 citizens have received services in the village from an integrated mobile camp conducted for five days in Rambha Rural Municipality of Palpa.

Targeting citizens who have difficulty accessing services due to geographical remoteness, the rural municipality has conducted integrated mobile camps in Humin, Tahun, Phoxingkot, Hungi and Pipaldanda. All types of services provided by the rural municipality are provided through the ward office, informed Suraj Pathak, Information Officer of Rambha Rural Municipality.

All types of diseases were tested in the camp. 974 people have taken treatment, consultation and referral health services. 116 people have taken free laboratory services for the diagnosis of various diseases. Swabs of 58 people have been collected using the HPV DNA method. Sputum samples of three suspected tuberculosis patients have been collected. 128 people have been tested for cervical cancer (VIA). It is reported that citizens of all wards participated enthusiastically in the camp. Providing integrated services to local level citizens at one place has saved time, labor, and expenses of service recipients and reduced the need to go to the rural municipality center, said Rural Municipality Chair Bhandari. He said that the camp has made it easier for citizens of remote and backward communities to receive services and has also increased public awareness, accessibility, effectiveness, and trust in the service.
