The 16th National Industrial Exhibition, Agriculture, Technology and Tourism Festival 2082 is going to be held in Butwal from Poush 3 to 17. The festival is being organized by the Rupandehi Industry Association and under the patronage of Butwal Sub-metropolitan City and the Confederation of Nepalese Industries.

The association has been organizing an industrial exhibition for the first time in Nepal in 2045 BS and continuously since 2053 BS, said Krishna Prasad Parajuli, president of the association. The industrial exhibition to be organized at the International Exhibition Center in Butwal will have 10 separate pavilions for domestic products, new technology, tourism and agricultural products.

The newly constructed modern international exhibition center will have modern-level stalls. The exhibition will further promote the 'Make in Nepal-Swadeshi Campaign' being run by the Confederation of Nepalese Industries.

The exhibition will have about 500 stalls including industrial technology, agriculture, handicrafts, garments, bakery and confectionery, leather shoes, food, information technology, etc. It is estimated that about 800,000 visitors will visit the exhibition and a turnover of Rs 300 million will be generated.
