Lumbini Province Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti Magar has called for the winter (seventh) session of the Province Assembly from Mangsir 20. The meeting of the Province Council of Ministers held on Kartik 24 had decided to recommend to Province Chief Gharti to call the session.

Dhruv Kunwar, Acting Secretary of the Office of the Provincial Chief, said that Provincial Chief Gharti has called for the session to begin at 1 pm on Monday, November 20, in accordance with Article 183 (1) and Article 166 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal.

A bill to amend the District Assembly and District Coordination Committee Operation Act, 2075 BS, and a bill to amend the Local Level Office Bearers and Members Facilities Act, 2076 BS, have been registered at the Provincial Assembly Secretariat for discussion on the winter session.

Similarly, the government is preparing to register a bill on Dalit rights and a bill on Badghar. Reports of various committees and the Auditor General's report have also been registered for the information of the Provincial Assembly. The sixth session of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly ended on Bhadra 31.
