Following the bomb blasts in Delhi, Islamabad, and Dhaka, the activity of Indian special police teams has increased on the Nepal-India border.

The special team has started discussions with Nepali security officials in the border districts to neutralize the high risk of terrorism.

In this context, a special team of the Indian federal government's police has said that the role of both countries will be important in controlling terrorist activities at the Armed Police Force post in Kalabanjar, Bardiya, under the direction of the central government.

Police Inspector Harshita Tiwari, the head of the special team of the police from Mihipuruwa in Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh, India, has come to the Armed Police Force post in Kalabanjar, Gularia, Bardiya, and discussed the issue.

Superintendent of Armed Police Man Bahadur Shahi said that both security officials held discussions with Prani Tiwari and Armed Police Inspector Sushil Pandey to neutralize crime and terrorist activities on the border.  After the bomb blasts in Islamabad, Delhi and Dhaka in South Asia, Sharif Shahi said that Nepal and Indian border security officials are on high alert.

Discussions were held to continue joint border patrols, tighten border security, and keep a close watch on suspicious persons, according to Armed Police Force No. 31 Battalion, Bardiya. The border with India is about 83 kilometers. The border area of India's Bahraich district is mostly covered in dense forests, so security officials from both countries have increased security surveillance, citing the possibility of infiltration by extremists, according to the Armed Police Force, Bardiya.
