A 24-year-old youth has died after falling from a tractor in Gulmi. Madane Rural Municipality-4, Myalpokhari, was on its way to Purkotdaha from BP Chowk when 24-year-old Anil Kunwar of the same place died after falling from the tractor (Lu 3 Ta 7738) at the same place, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Gulmi.
The driver, 22-year-old Sushil Kunwar, was drunk. The accident occurred at 9:30 pm last night. The injured Anil was taken to Gulmi Hospital for treatment, but was declared dead by the hospital.
The driver is in police custody. Police said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
