Police have arrested two youths from Musikot Municipality-5, West Rukum, in Bardiya with brown sugar.
Police said that the substance was found while checking two youths who were passing through Laukahi, a border town in India.
Bikash Pariyar, 23, of Musikot-5, Rukum Paschim, and Binod Kathayat, 23, of the same place, who were riding a motorcycle with the registration number Bhe8 Pa 1872 through the Ganeshpur checkpoint in Gulariya Municipality-11, were found to have 4 grams and 600 mg of a powdery substance resembling brown sugar, said DSP Devendra Kumar Malla, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Bardiya.
Police have arrested them and are conducting necessary investigations, DSP Malla said.
