A 70-year-old woman from Badarbhariya, Madhuban Municipality-4, has been found dead after drowning in a canal.
Police Inspector Mahendra Sen of the Area Police Office, Dhodhari, said that the body of 70-year-old Bajan Daiya Tharuni of the same municipality-4 was found in a siphon near the Deuti Temple.

Tharuni's body was handed over to her relatives after an autopsy, Prani Sen said. Police are investigating the incident.
