The United Land Rights Struggle Committee has demanded that the current government's decision to abolish the Land Commission be corrected. The Sangharsh Committee has demanded to correct the decision of the Council of Ministers to abolish the Land Commission on October 23.

The Sangharsh Committee held a press conference on Sunday and strongly protested against the decision of the Council of Ministers to abolish the commission and to reinstate the abolition commission and continue the rest of the work. In the

district, more than 45,000 applications were received from landless Dalits, landless squatters and unorganized residents. Bhakta Bahadur Vick, Central Chairman of Disciplinary Commission of Land Rights and Labor Organization Nepal, said that the last commission distributed land-rich parcels only to 53 landless Dalits and landless Sukumvasi.

"The committee of the commission was working in the district according to the policy responsibility to investigate and plan the distribution of parcels of land ownership," Bintiram Tharu, advisor of the United Land Rights Struggle Committee Bardia and central president of Kamasu Digo Bikas Samaj, said, "However, the current government has abolished the said commission without any alternative. The government has done a very dangerous thing by canceling the commission when the landless will get parcels of land.'

The landless people have been suffering for a long time because of the tradition of forming a commission to provide land to the landless and spending a large amount of money on it, and with the change of government, the commission is also being dissolved, he said. The Sangharsh Committee has warned that if the government does not restore the canceled decision and resume the rest of the work, it will be forced to stage a movement.
