A corruption case has been filed against two employees of the armed police on the charge of taking bribe from the service client.

The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority has filed a corruption case in a special court on Friday against inspector Harichandra Dhakal and jawan Yam Bahadur Khatri working at the Armed Police Border Out Post (BOP) in Majhgaon, Kothimai Rural Municipality-5, Rupandehi.

While coming to Nepal from India through the Durgoulia border crossing, the authority team arrested Jawan Khatri while he was taking 15,000 rupees from the general public for 'facilitating the passage of goods'.

Then, during the investigation, the involvement of inspector Dhakal was revealed, and the case was filed against both of them, according to the authority.
