A woman was seriously injured in a tiger attack on Friday. The police said that he was attacked by a tiger when he was cutting paddy in a field near his house in Barbardia Municipality-10 Dafaiya.

45-year-old Juna Chaudhary of the same place was seriously injured in the tiger attack, said DSP Devendra Malla, Information Officer of District Police Office, Bardia.

He said that the injured Choudhary was sent to Teaching Hospital, Kohalpur for treatment due to serious injuries in his groin. A tiger came and attacked from the Janjagriti community forest near the paddy field .

The incident is about 20 km north of the headquarters Gulria.
