Six people have fallen ill after eating wild poisonous mushrooms in Gulmi. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru informed that the Razali family of Gulmeedarbar rural municipality-1 Balithum fell ill on Wednesday morning after eating the mushroom while eating.
83-year-old Keharsingh Razali, 33-year-old Hima Razali, 16-year-old Elina Razali, 13-year-old Vipana Razali, 10-year-old Kiran Razali and 36-year-old neighbor Bavina Razali have fallen ill.
They are being treated at the local Shubh Sarathi Medical Hall in Majua. Police said that the condition of the patient is moderate. Symptoms such as nausea, headache and diarrhea appeared in them after eating mushrooms.
Since wild mushrooms are poisonous, District Police Office Gulmi has requested not to use them as vegetables.
