The police have arrested two fugitive defendants in the drug case. 23-year-old Niraj Karki of Bansgarhi Municipality-4 and Nadir Hussain Shesha of Gularia Municipality-12 were arrested by the police on Monday.
On June 10, 2081, the district court decided that Karki should be imprisoned for 4 months and 6 days in a drug-related case and Rs. 200 should be deposited in the victims' relief fund.
Similarly, on the 24th of June, the High Court of Tulsipur, Nepalgunj, sentenced Shesh to 4 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 5,000 in a drug case. Both were absconding since the court imposed the fine and punishment.
The Police Inspector of the District Police Office, Krishna Dangi, informed that the two persons were taken into custody and submitted to the court for necessary action on Tuesday.
