Traffic has been blocked in Kaligandaki Corridor and Dahre river in Gulmi. Although the road section that was blocked on Thursday was opened in the evening, it was blocked again from Friday morning due to overnight rain.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru, Information Officer of District Police Office, Gulmi, informed that the road was blocked due to a landslide in Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-2 Rakse of Kaligandaki Corridor and increased water flow in Satyavati Rural Municipality-6 Dahare river.

Kaligandaki Corridor Road Blockage Locals and passengers passing through the corridor have suffered. In the Gulmi section of the Kaligand corridor, roads are frequently blocked at Gargare, Rakse, Mulk and Kanouta. The Gulmi section of the corridor has been blocked time and again in Ward No. 1, 2 and 3 of Kaligandaki Rural Municipality.

Because of this, the passengers of public and private vehicles passing through this road are suffering. Narayan Prasad Adhikari, Chief Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Gulmi informed that efforts are currently being made to open the road.
