Police arrested three people with drugs. Police arrested three people with drugs from Baghaiyatal Rural Municipality on Wednesday.
The police said that 23-year-old Saroj Kumar Tharu and 23-year-old Rupesh Tharu of Banke Baijnath Rural Municipality-8 Titihiria were detained from Baghaiyatal-7 while they were coming from India to Nepal suspiciously. According to the police, they found 260 milligrams of the drug, a brown colored substance that looks like brown sugar.
Similarly, 25-year-old Ashiq Tamang of Madhuwan Municipality-9, who was coming from India to Nepal at Bagraiyatal-8 Simapur, was detained and checked, and 360 milligrams of narcotic drug brown sugar was found, according to the police.
DSP Chakra Bahadur Damarpal informed that the three persons were kept at the local police office Mainapokhar for 5 days from the court on Thursday.
