One person has died due to snake bite. 16-year-old Meena Pariyar of Geruwa Rural Municipality-5 Bindra died of snake bite on Friday morning. Keshav Neupane, information officer of Bardia Hospital, said that he died before being taken to the hospital.
Dharmaprakash Tharu, the ward chairman of Geruwa Rural Municipality-5, said that he was bitten by a snake while he was sleeping at night. He said, "I didn't know when the snake bit me at night. After I found out at 3:30 on Friday morning, I was taken to Bardia Hospital for treatment." When searching in the morning, a snake was found in the bed where the girl was sleeping.'
