In Rolpa's Triveni rural municipality-7, one person died when 7 students of Birendra Mavi of Garigaon were bitten by an aringal.
While returning home from school on Thursday, 7 children were bitten by an aringal in the Tila forest near their home. Mohan Pariyar, a 7-year-old child of the infant class, died during treatment at Rolpa Hospital at night. The seriously injured children are being treated. Rolpa police said that the injured have been sent to Rapti Health Science Institute in Ghorahi for further treatment.
According to the headmaster of the school, Barman Budha, the injured student was given first aid at the health post in Tila and brought to Libang District Hospital in Reugha for further treatment.
Sunita Pariyar of class 10, Shankar Pariyar of class 5, Manisha Pariyar of class 4, Kamal Pariyar of KG and Ashish Pariyar of Shishu are among the injured. Ayush Pariyar of class 7 has been sent home.
