Farmers demonstrated demanding the resignation of the Minister of Agriculture. The farmers, who were angry about not getting fertiliser, protested in front of the administration on Sunday demanding the resignation of the Agriculture Minister.

Farmers who are suffering from severe shortage of fertilizers are worried about the decrease in production if they do not get fertilizers on time. Angry farmers protested in front of the administration for about two hours. Farmers raised slogans such as 'Minister of Agriculture should resign', 'Give fertilizer to farmers on time', 'Kisan Ekta Zindavad' and others.

Narendra Yadav of Gulria Municipality-7 said that farmers have always been in trouble. "During the drought, Boring planted paddy after irrigation," he said.

"If the situation remains like this, how will we produce rice? How will we raise our children," he said. "There are many farmers in one ward," said Sunil Yadav, a farmer of Gulria Municipality-7, "But one cooperative gets 50 sacks, it is not enough for the farmers." "Every day I come to Gulria market for fertilizer," he said, "but the fertilizer is not used anywhere, there is nothing but disappointment." "There are many farmers, fertilizer is not enough and the municipality has the right to set the quota of the fertilizer," Assistant Prazia Kathayat said. Similarly, according to the head of Salt Trading Corporation Limited, Pravinjang Shah, fertilizer comes and goes through the cooperative according to the quota.  According to the Integrated Agriculture and Livestock Development Office, 50,150 hectares of dry rice are cultivated in

district.
