In Ghorahi, two persons have been arrested for stealing mobile phones while wearing police uniform. They threatened Asai by giving him a fake identity.
In Ghorahi, the police have arrested two people who threatened to steal by saying that they were 'Asai Hoon'. They were arrested on the charge of stealing a mobile phone from Geeta Neupane's camp in Siddharth Toll, Ghorahi sub-metropolitan city-14.
Among those arrested are 27-year-old Jagat Shahi of Kalikot Tilagufa Municipality-1 and 29-year-old Deepak Adhikari of Jumla Hima Rural Municipality-6. Both of them were currently living in Ghorahi sub-metropolitan city-15, Shivbasti village.
On the morning of July 18th, they were found while leaving Neupane's room after stealing a Vivo company mobile worth Rs. 56,000. When they inquired about the mobile phone theft, they threatened them by saying that they were Nepal Police officers.
The officer also showed a photo of Asai wearing a Nepal Police uniform on his mobile phone. After receiving information, the police found Neupane's stolen mobile phone while searching their camp room.
District Police Spokesperson DSP Chakra Bahadur Shah said that the Dang District Court extended the deadline of 5 days for arresting both people and further investigation.
