'Due to incessant rain, three main roads of Gulmi have been blocked since last night. Ganga Bahadur Saru, Information Officer of District Police Office Gulmi informed that the Kaligandaki Corridor, Ridi-Tamghas and Ridi-Wamitaksar roads of the district have been blocked since Sunday night.

  Under the Kaligandaki Corridor Road, Gargare located in Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-1, Milk of Ward No.-2 and Kanouta located in Ward No.-3, the road was completely blocked after a large landslide including rocks fell from the road. 

District Police Office Gulmi said that due to continuous rain, a landslide occurred in Salleri located in Rurukshetra rural municipality-3 under the Ridi-Tamghas road section. Similarly, information officer Saru of District Police Office Gulmi informed that due to the flood in Dahare Khola located in Satyavati Rural Municipality-6 and Badrevir in Ward No.-5 under Ridi-Wamitaksar road section, the road has been completely blocked since last night.  

Due to continuous rain in the area, there is a problem in reopening the blocked road until the rain stops, according to the District Police Office Gulmi. Kaligandaki Corridor and Riddy-Wamitaksar Road are closed time and time again, the citizens of that area are facing problems. Due to continuous rain, the water level in Badigad river is also increasing.

 District administration office Gulmi river coastal area  Residents have been asked to exercise caution and stay in safe places. The District Disaster Management Committee, Gulmi, has ordered more than two hundred places in the district to  It is at high risk of floods.
