A vehicle belonging to Social Development Division Pyuthan has met with an accident in Bardiya. Madhuvan municipality-8 at Kusumba Bazar on Sunday night at around 8:30 PM, government vehicle No. B AA 0931 fell into the drain.
Rishiraj Khadka, Senior Deputy Inspector of Police, Ela Police Office, Sanosree, said that while the driver was not able to turn, the vehicle fell into the canal while it was going from TCN Basti in Kusumba Bazar to Dhodri. Shriram Poudel, a teacher from Madhuwan municipality-5, village number 8, and Narayan Subedi, 39, from Pyuthan municipality-7, were riding in the vehicle. There were no casualties, he said.
The front and rear of the vehicle are crushed. It is not clear for what purpose the vehicle came to Bardia.
