There was a clash between Nike and the inmates inside the Bardia prison. 10 prisoners including Nike were injured in the clash around 11 am on Friday.

According to the prison administration, Nike, Assistant Nike and Chowkidar should be selected in every new financial year. Jail information officer Ravikumar Tharu said that phones were blocked throughout the selection period. "58 people including Nike, Assistant Nike and Chowkidar were assigned responsibility only three days ago," he said.
Information officer Tharu said that 6 prisoners were taken to Bardia district police office for further investigation. According to the prison administration, there are 425 male and female prisoners.
DSP Chakra Bahadur Damarpal of the District Police Office informed that he cannot say anything now because the prison is sensitive.
