After the start of summer, Bardia Hospital is getting crowded with patients. The 50-bed Bardia Hospital is full of patients.

Scrub typhus infection has been spreading among newborns in Bardia since June. They are full of patients with shortness of breath, diarrhea, anemia, and fever. In addition to the hospital, the number of patients coming to the district hospital Gularia with fever, stomach, headache, diabetes, blood pressure etc. is increasing day by day.

It has been started to arrange beds for more serious emergency patients including road accidents. Dr. Vishwanath Prasad Sah, pediatric specialist at

hospital, said that the number of patients with scrub typhus, fever, headache, diarrhea etc. is increasing after the onset of summer and rainy season. Despite the lack of manpower and physical facilities, there is no shortage in treatment.

The number of scrub typhus patients from newborns, children to the elderly has increased according to the hospital . According to the hospital, the number of people coming for outpatient services for daily treatment in the district hospital is more than 250.
