The police have arrested a young man from Thakurbaba municipality on the charge of raping a girl.

Police arrested a 27-year-old youth from Thakurbaba Municipality on Tuesday on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl.

The arrested youth is accused of raping the girl on 30th Baisakh and 32nd June. Relatives of the victim girl filed a complaint with the police on Tuesday. 

DSP Chakra Bahadur Damarpal, information officer of the district police office, informed that the young man was taken into custody after receiving a complaint and further investigation is being conducted by the district court for 5 days.
