Gulmi police have cleaned the footpath leading to Resunga, a religious place. The police team under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Narayan Prasad Adhikari from District Police Office Gulmi cleaned the footpath leading to Resunga.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru, Information Officer of District Police Office Gulmi, informed that stairs, drains and some repairs have been made on the short distance footpath from Khanigaon in Tamghas to the black-paved road. A police team of 62 people cleaned the place on Friday morning.

A fair is held in Resunga throughout July. Narayan Prasad Adhikari, Chief Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Gulmi, said that the salla leaves collected on the stairs and the bushes in the drains were cleaned targeting the fair.

"The stained stairs are very comfortable for pedestrians", he said, "When we saw garbage there, we took a team to clean it. After cleaning, the pedestrians will be relieved." According to the police, the aim is to make the religious place clean and the road leading to the religious place easy.
