Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel has said that the amount for health insurance will be paid in August. He informed that the insurance will be paid in two installments.
Minister Paudel claimed that the attraction for treatment has increased due to the increased trust of citizens in government hospitals. Poudel said that the government's goal is to make primary level hospitals in all municipalities equipped with services as the limited resources cannot handle the pressure of all the patients.
Minister Paudel said this while inaugurating the 5-bed Deurali Primary Hospital in Hoopsekot Rural Municipality.
Informing that 48 hospitals across the country have started services from new buildings since July 1, Minister Paudel said that the provincial and central governments will provide resources to those hospitals that will be operated under the leadership of the local government.
He said that the state has provided a lump sum discount facility to provide concessions to the citizens in the treatment of various complex diseases.
