Koseli Ghar has been launched in Rampur municipality to promote women entrepreneurs. In order to facilitate the sale of household products produced by women in the Rampur Municipality area, the Rampur Municipality has launched Koseli Ghar.
The household items produced by the women who became entrepreneurs from the skill training conducted by the Rampur Municipality for women in the city area in the past have been put up for sale at Koseli House. Deputy Chief Balkumari Thapa said that in the Koseli house, various items made of surf, jhol soap, finel, potato chips, thakal, corn husks, dunatapari, vases, agarbatti etc. are kept individually and collectively produced by women.
Here, she said, the materials made by women including soap, bags made from Neem, Sisno, Pati, Aloe Vera are being tried to make market management easier . Deputy Chief Thapa said that women entrepreneurs are excited after bringing Koseli House into operation. The municipality has also made a plan to organize Koseli houses and buy materials to make women entrepreneurs.
Mayor Raman Bahadur Thapa said that Koseli House will be effective for the marketing of local products and the promotion of women's entrepreneurship. He said that they are playing an important role in bringing the local products of entrepreneurs to the market. The female entrepreneurs trained by the municipality have brought their products for sale.
Koseli house has jhol soap from ward number 1, organic bath soap from ward 2, potato chips from ward 6, surf from ward 8 . Apart from that, hats, bags, duna topri, potemala, bangles and other materials made of natural fibrous plant poskar are kept for sale and distribution. The municipality has been conducting various skill-based trainings to make women entrepreneurs. Women entrepreneurs prepare their products from the skills learned by participating in the
training. Sales are being distributed through Koseli House, which started in Rampur Bejhand. This has improved their self-reliance and economic status. Sita Gharti Chhetri, an entrepreneur woman of Ward 2, said that Koseli House has helped in sales and promotion by producing soap and fennel. Sarita Aryal, an entrepreneur woman of Ward 8, said that she produces surf and brings it to Koseli home for sale. She said that Koseli House has an important role in promoting women's entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
