High Court Tulsipur has the highest number of cases in a decade, the number of cases exceeding one year is zero

The Tulsipur High Court has disposed of 1,243 cases out of the cases filed in the court in the financial year 2081/82. According to the information officer of the High Court, Madhusudan Panthi, out of a total of 1,457 cases, 1,433 of which were registered in the court during one year, and 414 of which were transferred from the previous financial year, 1,243 cases were dismissed. Currently 214 cases are pending.

During that period, 85.31 percent of the total number of cases were resolved, which is 42 percent more than the target. Information officer Panthi informed that the estimated target of clearing 871 cases last year.

'All the cases that have exceeded one year in the court have been decided . In the remaining cases, there are 45 cases that are more than six months old and 169 cases that are within six months,' he said in an interaction held on Wednesday.

Looking at the available data, 565 out of 949 cases i.e. 59.53 percent in 2072/73, 554 out of 931 cases i.e. 59.50 in 2073/74, 605 out of 789 i.e. 67.67 percent in 2074/75 were decided.

Similarly, 606 out of 801 cases i.e. 75.65 percent in 2075/76, 407 out of 580 cases i.e. 70.17 in 2076/77, 519 out of 782 i.e. 66.36 percent in 2077/78 were decided. Similarly, in the year 2078/89, out of 993 cases, 604 i.e. 60.82 percent, in 2079/80, 533 out of 1,52 i.e. 50.66 percent cases were dismissed. In the year 2080/81, out of one thousand 499 cases, one thousand 85 i.e. 72.38 cases were dismissed.

The Chief Justice of the High Court, Rajeshwar Tiwari, said that more cases have been registered and decided in a decade. According to the five-year strategic plan of the Judiciary, according to the case management method, the cases were to be divided into three types: simple, general and special. Since there is a provision to complete within six months, one year and 18 months, the performance has been done accordingly. By working in this way, the number of cases exceeding one year has dropped to zero . 45 cases exceeding six months and 169 cases within six months are pending,' he said.
